5-Day Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Journey

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, then savannah and water — a short, complete Uganda.
Five days is enough for a complete Uganda if we do not try to see the whole country. This journey is built around one gorilla morning in Bwindi, then a genuine wildlife chapter in Queen Elizabeth — savannah, the Kazinga Channel, and time to breathe after the forest.
You arrive in Entebbe and travel southwest at a human pace. The trek sits in the middle of the stay, not on the afternoon you land. After the forest we change landscape entirely: open country, a boat, and a selected stay chosen for access rather than a brochure photograph.
Who this is for
Travellers with a short window who still want the encounter that defines Uganda, plus animals and water so the trip is not only a single hour in the trees. If you have two extra nights, we would rather add Kibale or a rest day than squeeze in Murchison.
How it feels
Private vehicle, a guide who knows both the forest briefing and the channel, and lodges we select — we do not own them. Permits must be secured early in peak months. Tell us about knees and pace so we match the Bwindi sector honestly.
Day by day

Day 1
Arrive Uganda
Meet in Entebbe. After a briefing we travel toward the southwest at an unhurried pace, with a proper lunch stop — not a race to make the forest by dark.

Day 2
Bwindi at rest
Settle above the canopy. A short forest-edge walk if you want one, and a detailed briefing for tomorrow’s trek. Sleep early; the walk can be long.

Day 3
Gorilla trek
Permit briefing, walk with trackers, and a regulated hour with a habituated family. Afternoon to recover at the lodge — not another transfer.

Day 4
Queen Elizabeth and the channel
Change of landscape: savannah and a boat on the Kazinga Channel. Hippo, elephant, and birds from the water. Evening in a selected stay chosen for access.

Depart
A final morning and the road or hop back toward Entebbe — or onward if we have already planned the next country.

This journey can be shortened, extended, or combined with another country. Gorilla permits, conservancy fees, and crater rules change; we confirm the current picture in your proposal before you pay a deposit.
